The provider workspace Opening a provider from the spine takes you to its **workspace** — a full screen showing everything about that provider's treatment of your client. Unlike the quick expand on the Medical tab, this is where the real work happens. ## The Provider Header At the top is the provider's identity — name, specialty, and NPI — with badges showing whether any bill is on a lien, the negotiation status across its bills, and the records status. Three stat cards summarize the provider's **Billed**, **Paid**, and **Balance**. An **Edit Provider** button opens the provider details, and a switcher lets you jump to another provider without going back to the spine. ## Records Requests Near the top sits this provider's **Records Requests** tracker — the single place to request and chase records for this provider. It's covered in full on the Records & Requests page. ## Bills Below that is the **Bills** panel, with a **+ Add Bill** button. Each bill shows as a collapsed card with its dates of service, status, a records and payments summary, and the billed and balance figures. Expand a bill to reveal its linked records, its negotiation moves, and its payments — all covered on the Bills, Payments & Negotiations page. ## Per-Case Provider Notes At the bottom is a notes field for anything specific to this provider on this case — saved with a **Save Notes** button, and always available even before any bills exist.
