The Matter Inbox
Inside a matter’s Communication tab you will find two streams — Matter email and Portal comments. Inbound email is matched to the right matter automatically through a Gmail label, and anything that cannot be matched goes to the Unrouted Inbox (below). Outbound messages are recorded on the matter as part of its communications history.Sending
Open the compose drawer
Fill in the recipient, subject, message, and any attachments.
Choose how it goes out
You can send directly from the app, mark a message as one you will send yourself, or save it as a Gmail draft if Gmail is connected.
The Unrouted Inbox
The Unrouted Inbox collects inbound emails that could not be matched to a matter, so nothing gets lost. It is available to admins, attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries.
