Conflict of Interest Check
The first section runs your conflict check against the parties on the case. You can run the check, mark it cleared, or — if you need to proceed anyway — override the gate, which records a required reason in the audit trail. Results show either no conflicts found (with a count of parties checked) or a list of potential matches with a match percentage and flags for adversarial or existing-client hits. This check gates the rest of intake.Intake Questionnaire
This is the structured record of the client’s account, covering five areas: Accident Details, Injuries, Insurance, Prior Claims, and Referral. You begin it, fill it in, and mark it Reviewed & Complete when it’s done (you can unlock it again later if needed). It captures the things a PI case turns on — how the accident happened, which body parts were injured, who’s been treating, the insurance on both sides, and how the client found you.Opening Documents
Once the conflict check is cleared, this grid unlocks. It tracks the core opening papers and moves each through a lifecycle — Generate, Mark as Sent, Mark as Signed, and attach the signed copy:- Retainer / Contingency Fee Agreement
- Letter of Representation — stays locked until the retainer is signed, since it shouldn’t precede it.
- HIPAA Authorization — a blank, fill-by-hand form (per-provider HIPAA lives on the Medical tab).
- Notice to Preserve Evidence — the spoliation / litigation-hold letter.
